This adapter cannot be used to program serial EEPROMs with more than the minimum pin count. i.e. If the EEPROM is available in 8 pin DIP, 8 lead SSOP, 8 lead TSSOP and 14 lead TSSOP, the minimum pin count is 8. So, in this case the adapter cannot be used to program of the 14 lead device.
